Hervé Commère is the noted author of several short stories and novels, including Les ronds dans l’eau (2011), winner of the Prix marseillais du polar, Imagine le reste (2014), winner of the Plume de Cristal prize at the Liège International Crime Film Festival, Ce qu’il nous faut, c’est un mort (2016), winner of the Prix Polar Pourpres and the Prix Polar à Mauves-sur-Loire et Sauf (2018), which was a great critical and public success.
