Reine Bellivier was born in 1982. Her childhood was shaped as much by the bocage landscapes of the Pays de la Loire, where she grew up, as by several long stays abroad. As a teenager, her reading took her to distant places, paving the way for her later studies in literature. After much hesitation, she chose a career in publishing. She now lives in Nantes, where she works on various projects for different publishers.
Her debut, La Hideuse, will be published by Christian Bourgois in August 2025.
