Aurélien Bedos was born in Fontenay-aux-Roses in 1993. He works as a librarian and lives in the 18th arrondissement of Paris. After an adolescence shaped by the discovery of rock and stage, he studied cinema and philosophy at the University of Nanterre, specializing in the works of Andreï Tarkovski and Gaston Bachelard. He spent two years working in publishing for the Institut national d’histoire de l’art, before joining the Master de création littéraire program at Paris VIII. His first novel, Dans l’œil de Sobakine, was published by Editions du Seuil in 2022.
