Martin Dumont was born in Paris in 1988 and then lived in Brittany for a long time. Trained at the École Centrale de Marseille and then at the University of Southampton, passionate about sea and boats, he was a naval architect before turning to marine renewable energy. Martin Dumont is the author of a first novel, Le chien de Schrödinger, published in 2018 by La Croisée, then Tant qu’il reste des îles (Prix France Bleu/Page des libraires) published in 2021 by Les Avrils.
