Élise Lépine was born in 1985 in Haute-Loire. After working as a literary critic for Transfuge, Canal+, and Le Journal du Dimanche, she is now a journalist at Le Point and a columnist at France Culture, where she has been contributing for ten years to the program Mauvais Genres. In 2022, she published Rétablir le chaos, a book of interviews with writer DOA, published by Playlist Society. Les Courants d’arrachement, her first novel, will be released by Grasset in January 2026.
