Jacob Wren

Born in Jerusalem in 1971, Jacob Wren is a writer, director and performance artist. He has published seven books with various Canadian publishers. He has lived in Montreal since 2002, where he is artistic director of the interdisciplinary collective PME-ART, whose work has been presented in nearly twenty countries around the world. Riches et pauvres is his first novel to appear in French, following two books of short fiction, Le génie des autres (2007) and La famille se crée en copulant (2008), also published by Le Quartanier in a translation by Christophe Bernard, and re-released in 2023 in revised editions.
