Durian Sukegawa

Durian Sukegawa is a Japanese author, poet, singer, and columnist born on June 17, 1962, in Tokyo. He is also a university professor of philosophy and a graduate of the Japan Pastry School. In 1990, he founded the Society of Screaming Poets. In France, he is best known for his novel Sweet Bean Paste (2016), adapted for the cinema by Naomi Kawase.
