What if the sun never rose again?
Since Yoshie lost her only son, she has shut herself away in her house, which is as dark as night. Outside, perpetual night covers the earth. But when a mysterious young boy knocks on her door, bringing with him a glimmer of hope, she agrees to accompany him on a crazy quest: to find the sun. During their journey, Yoshie encounters people who lead her on the trail of her memories and the missing star. For at the end of the night, dawn always breaks.
