Annie Lafleur was born in Montreal. She has published Prolégomènes à mon géant (2007) and Handkerchief (2009) in Le Lézard amoureux; Rosebud (2013) and Bec-de-lièvre (finalist for the Prix des libraires du Québec and the Gouverneur général’s Awards, 2016) in Le Quartanier. She is a member of the editorial board of Estuaire magazine and collaborates as an art critic with Spirale and Espace art actuel. She works as a coordinator in an exhibition centre.
