Marie-Hélène Voyer was born in Le Bic, a small Quebec village, in the early 1980s. Not knowing how to milk a cow, she left the family farm very early on to devote herself to literature. She holds a doctorate in literary studies from Université Laval. She teaches literature at the Cégep de Rimouski, raises a happy family and slowly but surely learns the rudiments of maple syrup production. Expo Habitat is her first book of poetry.
