Jean-Paul Goujon is an honorary professor of French literature at the University of Seville and an associate lecturer and researcher at the CNRS. His edition of Pierre Louÿs’ erotic works in the “Bouquins” series is the culmination of thirty years of research, which has resulted in two successive editions of a biography (Seghers/Pauvert, 1988, then Fayard, 2002, greatly expanded), various critical editions, and numerous articles devoted to the author in various journals.
