Born in 1980, Daniel Grenier lives in Quebec City, where he is a translator and novelist. He has published at Quartanier Malgré tout on rit à Saint-Henri (2012), L’année la plus longue (2015, Prix littéraire des collégiens).
La solitude de l’écrivain de fond (2017), on the work of American writer Wright Morris. L’année la plus longue was published in 2016 in France by Flammarion, and in English by House of Anansi Press in 2017, under the title The Longest Year. Françoise en dernier is his second novel.
