Christophe Bernard was born in 1982 in Quebec’s Gaspé Peninsula and lives in Burlington, Vermont. He is an English translator (Yann Martel, Jacob Wren, bp Nichol, Sheila Watson, Tony Burgess...). The Hollow Beast won the Prix des libraires du Québec 2018.
