For two years now, Paul Hansen has been locked up in jail in Montréal. There, he shares his cell with Horton, a Hells Angel who is in prison for murder. Rewind: Paul is a caretaker at the Excelsior. He meets up with Winona, his wife. Flying her plane, she takes him in the sky, above the clouds. But soon, everything changes. When a new manager arrives at the Excelsior, conflict breaks out: the inevitable happens.
A story about life, Not All Men Live the Same Way is one of Jean-Paul Dubois’ most beautiful books. We discover a writer animated by an acute sense of fraternity and a feeling of revolt against every injustice.
