When the past comes to haunt a town again…
In the Cathedral of Santa Maria in Vitoria, a man and a woman in their twenties are found murdered in a macabre scenography: they are naked and hold hands like lovers while the two victims did not know each other. An even more terrifying detail: the autopsy will show that their death was caused by bees put in their mouths. The whole thing suggests that there is a link to a series of crimes that terrorized the city twenty years ago. Except that the perpetrator of these acts, once a valued member of the Vitoria community, is still behind bars. With his release on parole imminent, who is responsible for these new murders and what is their real purpose?
One thing is certain, Inspector Unai López de Ayala, nicknamed the Kraken, will discover a completely different face of the city.
