Suzanne, 36, lives with her four children from four different fathers, Achille, 17, Jules, 11, Arthur, 10 and Mathilde, 6. They love each other with a tender and whimsical love, between parties and zoning out in front of BFMTV, just like their mother. Even if it is not always easy, life is beautiful. But, following the Paris attacks and one personal attack too many, Ismael, her last love disappeared without a word, Suzanne committed suicide. To stay together, the children decide to hide their mother’s death. Against all odds, they are helped by Ismael who reappears and, on their way, they meet another Mathilde, who lost her daughter at the Bataclan.

What follows is a flight to escape from determinism and the justice of men, with a very cinematic ending on the beach of Cabourg, in memory of Suzanne’s dream: to attend the romantic film festival…
