A devastated Gaza is one vast open-air construction site. The United States, Israel, and the Gulf petro-monarchies have set out to build a new Riviera there. In Jaffa, former police officer Eli Bishara receives a warning: beneath the ruins of Gaza, a large-scale attack is being planned. Nothing can stop this Israeli Palestinian from making his way into the enclave to investigate—not even the woman he loves, Ana Güler, who, braving every danger, ventures in turn into the territory swarming with destructive forces in an attempt to find him.
