An autofiction that goes to the main point, a moving story of inconsolation.

It’s a book that has been resumed so many times, that has already counted a thousand erased pages. What if it was the last one? We enter the time of the book and the time of the disease: two monstrous traps. While a red giant grows in the center of her brother’s skull, the author tries to contain the bursts of her thoughts. Her twin mirror sends back to her the memories of her childhood, all that in her wished that life be magnified, sublimated. She keeps on rewriting again and again the experience of fear and fragility.

A plea for our insatiable need for consolation, Jumeau Jumelle is presented in the form of condensed fragments, the writing is lively and obstinate, attentive to what opens up and thunders in the silence of a consciousness confronted with reality.
