Love in robot times.
Anton and Maxine form a couple without any fuss, gently consumed by routine. One night, on their way home from dinner, they come across a lovebot, an animated sex doll with artificial intelligence, abandoned in the garbage. The irruption of this body, programmed for pleasure but martyred in its synthetic flesh, will soon upset their intimacy. But while the creature gradually regains life and reveals fragments of its past, they still have no idea that the trials it has gone through make it exceptional, and make it the prey of an unsuspected stalking.
