Oscar Wilde is one of the most explosive and controversial figures of the literary and social milieu of the second half of the 19th century. An eccentric icon and dandy par excellence, he lived a life strewn with scandal and triumph.
We find in his letters the dazzling jokes and piquant remarks that have made his conversations and his works legendary.
