After years in the Parisian suburbs, policewoman Sophie Cauchy flees from a toxic relationship to start a new life, far away in Millau.

Growing up in a radical ecological community in the Causses (Tarn) can be hard. Treated like an outcast, Esteban Perrault, is bullied by the other middle school students. He soon, however, finds a friend in Cassandra, who has just been placed in foster care.

When a 22-year-old girl is reported missing by her parents the lives of Sophie and these two teenager collide: the last place the young woman was seen is right where Esteban and Cassandra live…

Anne Percin skilfully weaves the destinies of these wounded characters together, turning their convictions into a force to wield against the violence of the world. Gripping and addictive, Les Loups de Babylone depicts an inquiry set against stunning landscapes, overshadowed by the mysterious presence of dangerous men.
