The tragicomic misadventures of a student who, on reaching the end of his thesis, is confronted with the growing madness of his brother.

Antoine is writing a doctoral thesis. He is in pain, suffering, and on the point of giving up. When his big brother Dan, who lives in London and works in finance, arrives in Paris to spend the summer, difficult circumstance force the two brothers to live together. They make for the perfect odd couple: one full of existential doubt, the other unscrupulously showing off his need to dominate the world. But do they really know each other? Antoine gradually discovers that his oh-so-impressive, robust and self-assured brother reacts to situations very strangely. On a drunken evening, during a visit to Brittany, Dan tells his brother a secret: he tells him about a moment when his understanding of life had been overturned, a scene wherein savagery took control over the man he had thought he was. This revelation changes their relationship. The balance of power is reversed as Dan’s cracks are uncovered, and Antoine does everything he can to protect him.
