What makes someone suddenly abandon the woman to whom she has just said “What wonderful moments I have spent with you, even today: I want this every day of my life?” This is the question that Jenny is faced to after Eve’s departure. Both of them will learn that “you can live the same story at the same time in two completely different ways”.
Alternating between the two women’s points of view, Fanny Chiarello and Wendy Delorme question, in a sensitive and embodied way, the possibility of a lasting relationship, the compatibility of lifestyles which seem opposed at first glance, and the need to confront the ghosts of the past in order to make the present possible. In counterpoint, they also offer a subtle reflection on the powers and limits of literary creation.
