What falls from the sky is not always providential...
Rally driver Tarvainen is driving through the snowy wastelands of northern Finland with too much alcohol in his blood and suicidal thoughts in his head, when suddenly the sky explodes and something crashes into the passenger seat.
This “something” turns out to be an extremely valuable meteorite, at least according to the inhabitants of the village of Hurmevaara.
The treasure is temporarily on display in the town’s museum, under the care of Pastor Joel, who as a former military man is not completely inexperienced in combat. This is useful, because organized crime has already caught wind of this new “jewel” which is worth millions... Except that Joel has many other problems. His wife is pregnant, but unfortunately not with him. And while he fights against professional criminals and other treasure hunters, he wonders what the Almighty has planned for him...
